Road Closures (Sat 13 July, 2024)
The roads that will be used during the procession include: Great Pulteney St, Argyle St, Pulteney Bridge, Grand Parade, Orange Grove, High St, Northgate St, Broad St, George St, Milsom St and New Bond St.
Road closures will operate between 14:00 to 18:00 with diversion routes in place, with bay suspensions in place from 07:00. As in previous years the line-up area for the procession is situated on Great Pulteney Street.
We intend to re-open roads as soon as the procession has moved through each section of the Carnival route for the final time.
We will do our very best to minimise any inconvenience caused, although there will inevitably be a certain amount of disruption, for which we apologise. We thank you for your co-operation.

Q: Is it too late to sponsor or donate to this year’s project?
A: It’s never too late to show your support. Click on the Sponsor & Support tab for more info. No matter how small your donation is, every single penny makes a difference. Visit our LocalGiving page to make a £5+ donation.
Q: Are you doing any work with schools in my area?
A: Every school in B&NES is invited to partake in this year’s project. A full list of participating schools will be listed on the Workshop tab. If your school isn’t listed please let your head teacher know that you would like your child’s school to signup to receive workshops.

A: We will be selling t-shirts and merchandise at Sydney Gardens on the day. Alternatively contact us via email and arrange collecting a t-shirt. T-shirts cost £15-20.
Q: How much does it cost to attend Bath Carnival?
A: It’s FREE. The carnival, the festival at Sydney Gardens, kid’s Carnival at the Bath Recreation Ground and the procession are all free to attend.
Q: Are there disabled facilities at the Carnival event?
A: Yes there will be disabled toilets at both the Sydney Gardens and Bath Recreation Ground events. For wheelchair users involved in the procession there are additional exit points along the route which can be used if required.
